![]() I recently learned about MyMind and it sounds very much like what I want, but was curious if anyone else had tried it. This has worked OK, but it's still a kind of clunky approach. I started using self-made hashtags within the notes and folders to facilitate searching. I've briefly tried things like Instapaper and Raindrop.io, but each lacked something (such as the ability to save PDFs or stand-alone images, OR just did a bad job presenting things I saved back to me or allowing for rich search functionality).Īfter kind of giving up on my search, I just started using the Apple Notes app (I work pretty much entirely in the Apple ecosystem) to clip things from the web and save articles. KeepIt was sort of nice, but again, I had to file everything myself and I didn't like the way it presented things back to me. I used Pocket for years but got frustrated by the need to tag and difficulty finding things when I went back into the app later. I work in research so I often have a lot of information thrown at me that I want to "pin" somewhere and come back to later. I have yet to find a workflow/app that really works for saving all these types of things and can present them in a way that is easy to search. Throughout my day, I am constantly coming across websites, articles, ideas, images, documents, tweets, etc. This is a productivity subreddit - we know you can find a way to do it yourself!
